Hi, I'm Alexander, the owner of YOU SMELL THAT LLC, which includes NALADAK Home & Self Care. A little about me—my passion for fragrance began in childhood, surrounded by the natural scents of the outdoors and everyday aromas that evoke memories of things we cherish. I vividly remember my first true love for fragrance, which happened at a fair when I was young. The sweet smell of cotton candy being spun at a nearby concession stand, right next to where my family stood, is a scent that has stuck with me ever since.
Since then, I've been driven to recreate special moments through scent—whether it’s crafting an atmosphere of calm or transporting you back to a cherished memory. I love the idea of creating candles that stand out from the usual store-bought options. Our handcrafted candles are made with fewer ingredients, paired with our unique, high-quality fragrance blends, to offer something truly special.
I always loved the warm, cozy glow of candles and the comforting scents they filled my home with. But as I learned more about the high amount of ingredients in many candles, I became weary of lighting them as much. That’s when I decided to start NALADAK—to create candles that are free from harmful ingredients while still offering a wide range of beautiful, strong scents. My goal is to bring back the joy of lighting candles, without the worry of breathing in so many ingredients.
